«We arrived last night. And the flight was quite difficult, because we had departured early in the morning and arrived late at night. The saddest thing is that my luggage has not arrived with me. So here I am wearing jeans and sneakers all the time. And as for the physical form to be honest, after the Fed Cup tie absolutely everything hurts, my whole body. I hope to have a better day today, my suitcase with clothes will eventually arrive and tomorrow I will be in a better shape than today. Its hard to fix everything in one day. Fed Cup siphoned off so much mental energy in a matter of just two days, there were so many emotions and so much drama and stress, sometimes individual tournaments dont take up so much out of you.»

Jeg tror ikke situasjonen til Alexandrova er så ille som hun sier her, men mot tidligere topp 10-spiller og tidligere vinner av turneringen kan hun få testet seg likevel. Kasatkina har slitt voldsomt i lengre tid, og da spesielt med serven, men til disse prisene og under disse forutsetningene må det da være verdi i henne.
