Jena team lacks consistency throughout an entire game vs Ludwinsburg… The fact that it got so close again in the end wasn’t so much Jena’s fault, but Ludwigsburg’s own. They practically played a carbon copy of their game against Vechta. The roster is simply too small right now in Jena, both in terms of size and the players involved. Their style of play isn’t pretty to watch, and when the shots aren’t falling, things look bleak. Jena certainly isn’t playing team basketball, and a few individuals are currently having to shoulder the responsibility. Jena team don’t have just one problem at the moment. Since Osobor’s injury, the shooting percentages have been abysmal in every game; I haven’t seen such low percentages in a long time, not even in the second division. There’s a lack of confidence, teamwork, and sometimes even the motivation to win. But I’m most disappointed with TDM. He was brought in to generate points, but sometimes I think he’s just playing for the jugular.
