The mood at the Bayer Giants has improved significantly after their 80-68 victory over the Tigers Tübingen. The second-division basketball team was finally able to redeem itself after a somewhat disappointing start to the season

The team arrived in Tübingen in the ProA and now wants to prove it to their home fans, and they’ll have some support in doing so. Kobe Langley will be playing for the first time today.

The 24-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season and is eligible to play immediately. The American, like his twin brother Keyshaun, most recently played in Slovakia – the latter is now a key player for the promotion-hopeful Crailsheim Merlins. Kobe Langley, like his brother, is a point guard and strengthens the Giants as the fourth US import – a signing that Mike Koch had already announced before the start of the season and which has now been completed more quickly than expected. “Langley is someone who acts as a true playmaker. He organizes the game, sets up his teammates perfectly, and is also known as a committed defender.

Bremenhaven aren’t among the absolute favorites for promotion, they’re still undefeated after three matchdays. They prevailed at home against newly promoted Baskets Wolmirstedt and Bayreuth, and triumphed away in Münster – none of them teams expected to finish top, of course. This ultimately also applies to the Bayer Giants, who, however, want to be “a force” at home, as the coach put it before the season.

Leverkusen must allow as few open shots as possible and, in return, they must attack the basket quickly.  The Eisbaren have also been notably strong in assists. The team has collected 70 assists in three games – 41 more than the Bayer Giants. Further proof, then, that the key to Leverkusen’s victory will lie in defense.

Also i like over points in this game the line over 155.5 points @1.65 is playable as well
