For Aix Maurienne the goal was the playoffs, so if we start from there, they failed. Player Smith, like the other two, was weak. So Aix was wrong about him. As for the others, it’s a shame Aix kept them on for so long. Ultimately, Loïs was injured for a very long time, and his replacement wasn’t up to scratch. Falcoz, the highlight of the year, and of previous years, leaves Aix with his head held high. The other French players did their job, each with their ups and downs, but they delivered. There’s one more game to explore the country a bit more, and then Aix Maurienne starting almost from scratch, hoping they don’t make too many mistakes with their resources. Bring on September!!! Which means Aix will relax and without too many players, this season for them is finished.
