Ferrero sets sights on returning to the Top 10

After 10 straight match wins and two titles in as many weeks, former No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero is aiming to get back in the Top 10. "This victory makes me believe in this goal," said Ferrero. "I dont have much to defend in Acapulco, Indian Wells and Miami so I hope I will do well, get extra points and move back up in the rankings." Back-to-back championships in Costa do Sauipe and Buenos Aires have pushed Ferrero's ranking back up to No. 16. Ferrero won the French Open and reached No. 1 in 2003 before being derailed by chickenpox and a host of injuries. His victory in Casablanca last year was his first title since that career-defining year, and he had last won back-to-back titles in 2002. "I feel unbelievable after winning two weeks in a row," he said. "I think the key to my current success is the physical work I have done. I have been working very hard and I know that I can be on the court forever. That helps my game a lot because I get to the ball much earlier and can be more aggressive. "This also helps me mentally. I feel very strong and know that I have more resources now when playing important points. I have been working with a friend on the mental aspect and all is coming into place."
